will smoking cigarettes cause acne my already bad acne to get worse? Will smoking cigarettes make acne worse?
yes cigarette smoking makes acne worse.

skin smoking is bad for skinWill smoking cigarettes make acne worse?
Smoking is bad all around. Acne needs clean skin to get better, smoking will get into the pores and clog them up. There are toxins in cigarettes all bad for the skin. And as many have mentioned will age you faster, getting wrinkles and the like. The skin color and texture changes.
No, but you will die young, and I think thats worse than bad acne.
yup.
Yes, smoking is no different like dumping waste into a lake and all the fish dies... Your acne is the dead fish in your lake...

Your body is just warning you with the acne that you are harming yourself.
Acne should be the least of your worries. Smoking ruins people's lives. Trust me. Don't do it!
It depends on the person. When I used to smoke, I broke out, so I quit. My friend whose skin is perfect - she washes her face with regular soap, touches her face a lot, and I never spot a pimple on her!- started breaking out once she started smoking. She complained about the bumps on her forehead and her back, but she never stopped smoking. I still see it til this day.

Other examples are my guy friends, when they promise themselves to stop smoking, their acne cleared up. But due to the addiction, 3 weeks later they started smoking, and they began breaking out with some crazy acne.

So from my experience, yeah it makes it worst. But if you smoke, you should know the answer.
it might not make it worse if you're lucky, but logically it would because of all the toxins and it sure won't help things any.
yup! sure it will! it will also make your breath smell, and get yellow teeth and you will get wrinkles earlier (yuck)

i'd say. . .

stop smoking all together!
Yes. The toxins in cigarettes delay healing so your zits will take longer to go away. They promote the release of inflammatory cytokines that increase cellular damage.

Doesn't matter how healthy the rest of your habits may be- smoking is the number one most dangerous and destructive thing you can do to your body, and the smoke you spew out is more toxic still to the people around you.
yes it will. and it will cause some major wrinkles even if you are young.
