Can lifting weights cause my acne to get worse?

im a 16 year old guy and when i lift weights it seems like i get more break outs maybe its just a coinsidence but i dont know.Can lifting weights cause my acne to get worse?
yes. because you sweat more and your face gets more oil...so just make sure you shower well and wash your face after you work out. =)Can lifting weights cause my acne to get worse?
It's probably because the sweat clogs the pores.


I would suggest washing your face with some plain soap BEFORE you work out (like Ivory that sutff is great)


And AFTER you work out with something from clean%26amp;clear or the same thing.


Also before you wash your face wash your hands!

this could happen because when you are lifting weights you are creating sweat. The sweat is making your skin oily especially on your face. Then when you dont wash your face the sweat and oil and dirt makes you brake out in fits of black-heads.
Everyone is more prone to breakouts when they exercise, anytime you sweat it clogs your pores and that is what causes breakouts.





The best thing to do would be to wash your face right after you work out to try to prevent it from happening.
You may break out because you sweat and your pores get clogged up. Be sure to shower after you work out and drink lots of water. Working out helps your blood flow which is always good.
Yep, it is because of your sweat! Try wiping your face off with water/a towel every 10 min. or so. It will keep the oil off of your face.
My brother had the same problem... he started taking a shower both before and RIGHT after working out and they lessened.
