If the lotion is made for your face, it should be fine (if you have normal to dry skin). If it is body lotion, do not use it on your face. Perhaps you should buy a moisturizer made specifically for the face, rather than face and body lotion.
Some lotions will clog your pores! if you already have acne i would only use a lotion that is for acne and does not have mineral oil in it! that is a big no no for acne and skin in general!!
if it mentions anywhere its non-comedogenic than it means it wont clog pores. and i'm assuming since it mentions ';face'; the company wouldnt be mean, so then it will be safe. if it has a fragrance though, that could irritate the skin on your face, so then only apply on your body and get a moisturizer designed for your face (man i mention ';face'; a lot hahaha).
Even people that are acne-prone, or oily skin, still need to use a DAILY moisturizer on their face. Without that hydration, your oil production will actually be WORSE, because it will over-compensate. The key is to find a non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and possibly oil-free moisturizer.
if u put it on and sweat or get really dirty then it is bad for it but if u use it and go to work or school and just sit around it shouldn't do anything especially if you get a light lotion that usually helps
