Is soap bad for face acne?

Is regular bar soap in the shower bad to wash your face with? my acne never seems to go away..also on my chest %26gt;%26lt;

Yes regular bar soap is not good. This leaves a thin film of soap on your skin which will lead to drying of the skin. Because your skin will be so dry, your sebaceous glands which are your oil glands will start to produce even more oil because you have stripped the skin of its natural oil and then BOOM, you start to get more acne. Overdrying of the skin does more bad then good. Just use a water based cleanser which will cleanse the skin and balance out the skin.Is soap bad for face acne?
yes it is very bad because it is drying your skin out too much , i suggest nuetrogena facial wash it has chemicals in it that will balance out the skin and clear the acne. I use it on two children whos face and back are oily and after i wash them i use it . I also use Witch Hazel .
