Is this Acne cream bad? Help!!?

I am in Europe right now and I ran out of my acne cream and right after got a bad breakout. The acne cream stopped working anyway after about 6 months so I know I'm not going back to it. (Differen .5% combined with Bendryl .5%)





Anyway, don't get back to the states until a month so I went to a pharmacy to buy some acne treatments. (They sell everything over the counter) Well the lady gave me Avene Diacneal acne cream and Harrogate Sulphur soap.





The Acne cream said it was normal for your skin to dry up and peel, but for me it did the exact opposite. It's made my skin VERY OILY, like as if someone smeared grease all over my face. My face has never been this oily before. And then I started getting even worse breakouts. Is this suppose to happen or is this medicine doing something it should not?





My face does not burn or get red or irritated. Just very oily and my acne breakouts have increased. And the sulphur soap doesn't seem to do much as well. I've been using both for a week already.





Should I keep using the cream? All this oil coming from it kind of disturbs me.Is this Acne cream bad? Help!!?

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.





I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
