Can steaming your face make acne worse if u use too much salt?

i added salt into the water because heard it will kill the bacteria but i think i might have used to much salt....can it worsen skin????Can steaming your face make acne worse if u use too much salt?
my mom is a determatoligist and she told me that salt will just clog your pores evan more so DONT USE IT!!!!!

The salt won't evaporate, so it won't reach your face when you steam it, it will just stay in the water so it's a bit pointless!





If you already have broken skin on your face then salt will sting - use something gentler instead, witch hazel or a (single) drop of tea tree oil.
